Those I just pop in my mouth and eat, the other cherries are what I freeze and use throughout the winter.
My theory on social media is as long as someone is not being disrespectful all opinions are welcome. I learned a long time ago that exploring diverse opinions creates the best solutions since none of us perceive reality exactly the same. I had a philosophy professor who illustrated opinions perfectly. He asked several members of the class to grab their favorite green crayon (He has a pile of crayon bits and pieces of every color and hue) Out of the twenty only a couple had exactly the same shade of green. His point was that the shade of green they chose was correct for them, but no better nor worse than any other's shade was for them. I have always remembered this as a concrete way to understand that every opinion has value, even if it is diametrically opposite of mine. (Except TheHub and he should always share my opinion because I am always right on everything that affects us personally!)
Great walking shoes are the best!Anne in the kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533249631969001657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6173509801114364154.post-70285363609291107092017-06-02T09:55:11.245-05:002017-06-02T09:55:11.245-05:00As a Washington girl, Rainier cherries are the bes...As a Washington girl, Rainier cherries are the best! We used to get bags of them from family with trees, and I'd eat enough to be sick regularly during the summer. ;-) That's how you know you've had a good time - you get sick from eating too much fruit. #partyanimal

I love social media & our ability to communicate with those we'd never know without the internet. However, it does frequently remind me that there are many divergent perspectives around the world. Many of them thoughtful although different than mind. Some of them . . . not so thoughtful. It can be really difficult to swallow some of the things you see, & I think we as a society are still determining how to best harness the power of all of this connectivity, while not letting as much of the negativity in. (I'm not referring to the comments on your post. Although I disagree with many of them, I can understand where someone would have that perspective. I'm thinking of things like blatant racism & sexism).

Anyway, back to positive thinking for Friday. I'm working from home today, and am thrilled to have a more flexible schedule that doesn't involve the commute! I love the Rainier(WA state)cherries but usually settle for Michigans or NYS ones since the WA ones are more costly.

I live in Easy Spirit shoes and they are very light. They are not cheap by any means but I have foot issues and I wait and get them on sale.slugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6173509801114364154.post-46104016943117940402017-06-02T06:19:30.389-05:002017-06-02T06:19:30.389-05:00These were Nike Flexperience RN5.These were Nike Flexperience RN5.SAMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16485146123969622896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6173509801114364154.post-21012213615053864062017-06-02T06:16:35.889-05:002017-06-02T06:16:35.889-05:00Just curious - what type of shoes did DD1 give you...Just curious - what type of shoes did DD1 give you.
