Sisters Weekend
The annual fall weekend with my sisters is done.Sisters is defined loosely, by biological, by marriage, and by friendship. We had a mix of that with seven of us this weekend. All day we ran into other groups of "sisters." You see, the first weekend in November is hunting opening in Minnesota and Wisconsin. While none of our spouses or significant others were away doing this annual right of passage, we took advantage of the weekend specials and extras the little communities in the river valley like to offer the hunting widows.Shopping, eating, pampering, and a few beers were involved. I think I'm still recovering this morning.

ReplyDeleteToo bad we don't all spring back so well on sunday morning. Two of the gals were babysitting toddlers later that day. I just had to feed the dog-and hide the shopping evidence.
