Aril at Gnat Bottom Towers got me thinking
about water again today. What a force water
is-needed for life but potentially deadly when it comes in nature too fast. For
my life, it probably is the resource I take for granted but then miss the most
when not readily accessible. It is key to me being able to manage my wallet
allowing me to make delicious meals in my own home, cool off and smell nice on steamy days, and hydrate myself for free
at work and on the go.This is my water bottle
I use at work-aiming for two at
minimum per day. Not much else to say, but go visit Aril and watch the vignette
she posted. On my worst days, I have a great life.

I love how you ended that. "on my worst days, I have a great life."
ReplyDeleteIt's true, for most of us it's so true! I will be going over that phrase in my head for awhile. Ah, perspective, isn't it grand!
As Aril titled her post, it is perspective isn't it? I could complain that I am sick of leftovers at work, but guess what, my rice, leftover -leftover chili, and cucumber salad is nourishing, and tasty, and about $ .50!My aches and pains are helped with an ice pack and an ibuprofen, and my friends and family have a listening ear when I'm struggling with something on my brain.
DeletePerspective is everything. I'm usually looking from the wrong one tho. drat.
ReplyDeleteGuilty as well, which is why her post made me think today!
DeleteI love the sentence at the end. I am going to start saying it every morning when I wake. Thank you for sharing this post.
ReplyDeleteI need to remember it mtself-long after this post.
DeleteI agree, on my worst day, I have a great life too. Thank you for reminding me of that. You may have come up with a new mantra for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Aril for starting the sentiment.
