Triage
The Oxford dictionary defines triage, when used as a verb, as "to assign degrees of urgency" in a medical sense. I'm in that personal triage mode right now. If I've been less chatty on other blogs, I apologize and will have a good catch up this weekend. We've had death, illness, injury, work chaos, school chaos, and just the stuff of life to deal with this week, so I'm trying to take an approach that assigns a degree of importance, and if it doesn't make the cut, so be it. I'll keep telling myself that.

So sorry that you have had a rough week. Take your time and hope things calm down soon. Believe me when I say that I understand. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry this week has been going so badly for you! Take care of the important stuff and then make sure to take a breath and do something for you! It's way too easy to get overwhelmed in the best of circumstances - never mind when it's complete chaos! The rest will be there when you have the time! (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteSending lots of hugs and best wishes. I hope that everything gets a lot better again soon. Jx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, sounds like you've been through it this week. Hope things calm down soon, take care.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the super stressful week, but I think it is something we are all familiar with and understand. I hope things settle down quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a very trying week. Hope things improve soon. Sending hugs across the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible, hoping things get sorted soon. Hugs
ReplyDeleteDeath, illness, injury AND assorted chaos?! Add in taxes and I'd be done with it all. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHope things calm down soon.
Taxes!, Yes, we have to tackle getting those completed, and I'm crossing my fingers the damage isn't any more than last year. I'm hoping the increase set aside in my 401 K pretax, off set some of DH's untaxed earnings.
DeleteSo sorry Sam life is giving you a bashing right now. Keep your chin up sending you lots of positive thoughts x
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. Things aren't in dire straights, but I was feeling like life was just in chaos yesterday. It still seems so today, but I got one or two of the big things done yesterday, daughter is back at school, and the world is still turning the correct way on it's axis.
