End of a 13 hour day seldom seen selfie. |
It was a short walk to the marina. Had I not been in meetings until 7:00, this might have been a fun way to spend a night. But oh, and it was cold! I started my walk wishing I had a pair of gloves on my hands.
These last three were my digs for Monday night, with patio, and amazing view. I could get used to my morning coffee on that patio. It's missing pup though.
It looks gorgeous. I'm super excited to head to the Oregon coast this weekend. It's supposed to be 100 again here (unusual for us), but 70 on the coast. Can't wait for the cooler weather. Like where you were at, it cools down quickly at night, and is usually really brisk by night fall.
ReplyDeletei hope you enjoy your trip. It sounds like my type of get away.
DeleteSome day I'll make it up North into MN beyond the Twin Cities area.
ReplyDeleteIt would be well worth your time. There are some great parks, and if you like casinos, this particular area had a nice little one.
DeleteWhat a great place to have to go to for work!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good thing it was such an engaging meeting topic or they might have lost folks on the breaks.
DeleteIt looks beautiful - and that is a lovely photo of you too. Anna
ReplyDeleteWell,it's me, and it' a photo, but thank you.I am gradually get ok with pics of me. My hair was back in a messy bun since I had such a long drive. I'm not fond of my whole face being so forward.
DeleteOhhhhh the view! And that's pretty nice for a hotel room! A change is as good as a rest (so they say) but you'll be glad to get home to your own bed once again.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful room, but I wish I would have slept better there. My bed already looks pretty good just unloading my overnight bag.
DeleteWhat a lovely view! I don't sleep well in most hotel rooms and am always glad to get back to my bed.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think a change would be welcome, but I never gey steady sleep.
DeleteLooks gorgeous if I ever get to the states I'm coming to visit you lol.
ReplyDeleteIn June and north, it ix beautiful. You may not like November-April.
DeletePS that's a lovely pic of you Sam
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm not much for selfies.
DeleteAnd, what is your job? I like that phrase "face forward." That is why I wear bangs and curls around my face. Of course, I don't spray the curls and they go limp.
ReplyDeleteI'll just say I work in education policy, as I attempt to keep seperate blog life and work life. My face seems so big when I wear my hair back, but otherwise it can be a sweaty mess.
