Power Outage
It is amazing to think how far the world has come in technological advances. Even more amazing how dependent we have become on it. A transponder was hit near work, sending us in total darkness. We are all at a standstill as everything we use is on our server and that had to be shut down. It is a nice chance to purge the paper we still might be holding by cell phone light. I also cleaned the dust of my shelves. Great-the lights are back on but no computer or phone. My office might never be cleaner.

It is scary how things revert when the power is out. It was out at our house for days once and we were reading by candlelight. I said I felt we should be getting ready to plow the fields. I was so glad when it came back on.
ReplyDeleteThe worst was no coffee makers going!
DeleteI'm the sort of girl who regards power cuts as the best excuse possible for even more dust. Each to their own.
ReplyDeleteIn my own house-yes. I had to do something in the office.
