It's a Dog's Life

Pup loves the newly discovered dog park. The bad thing is, he falls in love with every other dog and is constantly sniffing at them, and a genuine pain in the butt. Fortunately there are a coupe side areas where I can send him chasing balls and wear him out a little bit. He's fascinated with the perimeters and insists on walking the whole park before he sets out to play. We have to bring separate water and a bowl as while he'll nose around the communal bowl, he will not drink from it. Silly guy-sniff butts but will not share a water bowl. I hope you enjoy my baby.

  2. What a cutie! Buddy is nervous around other dogs, something we are trying to curb as he has been rushed by loose dogs before. We do have a big back yard though so he spends tons of time out there except when it's rainy or windy as he hates it then

    1. We have a back yard and a park, but neither are fenced and he will run farther than the natural boundaries. The dog park works great for giving him uninhibited running.

    1. He's a Shitzu small poodle mix-shipoo. We just say he's a shit, but a lovable one.

  4. Cute pooch! And there is a huge difference between sniffing butts and drinking after them, right?

  5. It's all about the butts with dogs. lol Glad he had fun at the DP. My Zoey usually needs a bath afterwards. She gets drooled on by bigger dogs and usually ends up playing in a patch of dirt with one of them.

  6. He's so fluffy and happy! My two cats, who are sisters and should be used to each other's smell, frequently sniff each other's butt. Don't think there's any way to prevent it so I just sigh and look the other way. Get a room!!

  7. Maybe after sniffing a few butts, he has a good reason not to drink after the other dogs.

  8. Thanks everyone for agreeing that pup is a cutie! He's horribly behaved, and does need a dog whisperer, but I put that on the owner.
