Trivia Finish and Ghoulish Greetings

We earned 2nd place at Trivia last night. Woo hoo! There was a lot of Halloween related questions. Ghost movies though were not our thing last night. We had a team effort trying to come up with the name of actor Christopher Lee. There's always a satisfaction when you don't know the answer, but then can work it through and come up with it before time is up.

I'm prepared for about 80 Trick or Treaters. CVS had buy one get one, but the prices were high to begin with so not the best deal ever. I still spent $33 on candy. I'll put out the Reese's last so if there are leftovers, those are the ones  for DH. He will nibble before hand I know..

It is also my older daughters birthday. She's coming over tonight and we'll at lest have a little dinner and give her a gift. She's gone for the weekend. I've been trying to get to work early so again today this will e a quick post. It's still cold and frosty-high's will be in the 30's and I don't mean Celsius.  If you celebrate the ghoulish day, enjoy.

  1. I have enough candy for 250 fun sized candy bars minus probably 50 my husband may have eaten since he found it hidden in the car, plus 60 mini rice krispy bars I found at Aldi. I'm planning on burning a few pieces of wood while enjoying a cup of chili around the fire pit. No spooky movies over here!!!!

    1. Wow, even at two fun size each, that's a lot of kids to plan for! DH got into the Reese's-ate nearly 2/3rds of the bag before I even got home.

  2. It's cold and wet here so it's probably just as well Hallowe'en isn't such a big thing in France. Still, it's enough for me, especially as I have to be gone between 6-7 o'clock. Enjoy your dinner with your daughter all the same!

    1. We had fried rice and she ate the last veggie burger and DH ate a leftover Salisbury steak on a bun. Birthday glam, but she said it was good.
