My Kind of Office

End of a 13 hour day seldom seen selfie.
The Twin Cities area has some peak areas of beauty, but nothing compares to northern Minnesota with the lush forests and a new lake around every corner. Just a short post to share where my "office" is for a couple days this week. Don't be too jealous; I'm back in the land of beige and gray come Wednesday.

It was a short walk to the marina. Had I not been in meetings until 7:00, this might have been a fun way to spend a night. But oh, and it was cold! I started my walk wishing I had a pair of gloves on my hands.

These last three were my digs for Monday night, with patio, and amazing view. I could get used to my morning coffee on that patio. It's missing pup though.

  1. It looks gorgeous. I'm super excited to head to the Oregon coast this weekend. It's supposed to be 100 again here (unusual for us), but 70 on the coast. Can't wait for the cooler weather. Like where you were at, it cools down quickly at night, and is usually really brisk by night fall.

    1. It would be well worth your time. There are some great parks, and if you like casinos, this particular area had a nice little one.

  5. Ohhhhh the view! And that's pretty nice for a hotel room! A change is as good as a rest (so they say) but you'll be glad to get home to your own bed once again.

    1. It was a beautiful room, but I wish I would have slept better there. My bed already looks pretty good just unloading my overnight bag.

  8. And, what is your job? I like that phrase "face forward." That is why I wear bangs and curls around my face. Of course, I don't spray the curls and they go limp.

    1. I'll just say I work in education policy, as I attempt to keep seperate blog life and work life. My face seems so big when I wear my hair back, but otherwise it can be a sweaty mess.
