Blooming Magnificent

What's better than a beautiful crisp spring day strolling amongst stunningly vivacious and fragrant blooms? Doing this alongside your daughter at an insiders tour of the Bachman's green house, located on the 900 acre farm where all the magic happens. While the day started out cool, by noon it was fine, and down right warm in the green house. This time I was technically my daughters plus one since I was late to sign u and was wait listed, but she added me. I later did come up from the wait list, but since I already had a spot, I just stayed as her guest. We enjoyed free Pure Leaf Ice tea, Tru Wood Oven Pizza, deliciously blooming sugar cookies, and even potted a tiny little petunia, ready to be added to our flower boxes in a month or so.

This event was sponsored by the crew at MN Bloggers Bash and generously hosted by #Bachmans, a company run by the 4th generation of the family. You might remember that we also got a sneak peak a the Bachman's holiday house last November. I'll let you take in all the colors in my not so great pictures. Since I love l blogging for a hobby, I say why not take advantage of opportunities to learn more about local business, get some OK photos, and share the views with you all.

Beautiful Begonias.

My daughter was in succulent nirvana.
Please, someone tell me what these are?
A type of dahlia, perhaps.
I just thought they were stunning

The baskets move on a belt to be weighed and
watered to precise amounts.

Treats-I didn't  get a pizza picture.

  1. Hydrangeas, I have one in my front yard. They grow in wet warm climates. Especially the coast. The only reason mine survives in this desert area is it is sheltered by a wall and is next to a sprinkler head.

    1. We spent about an hour-plenty since we are not great gardeners, but any time with a grown daughter is time well spent.

  3. Lovely photos - and don't get me anywhere near a garden centre - I would spend a fortune. I have hydrangeas in front of my house but they don't do too well as it is a very dry spot and I forget to water them! But in England!!! They are stunning (all that wet stuff you see)!

    1. I need something that I won't kill, that will return each year. Suggestions?
