The decorators at Nothing Bundt have no worries. This is actually cake two. The first, while delicious, had too much raspberry filling (follow the directions) so just fell into itself when taking out of the pan. Still, two cakes worth of ingredients was 1/2 what a store bought version is. Other than my woeful piping skills, this was so easy! Grease and flour the pan and use the recommended amount of filling and it baked and came out of the pan like a dream. I could put more frosting but it would have been messier, plus this cake is sweet enough with the pudding and white chocolate bits.

Looks delicious! I'll be trying this.
ReplyDeleteI may look for other versions now.
DeleteLooks delicious!
ReplyDeleteIt was.
DeleteThat looks scrumptious. Sprinkling with powdered sugar would make it less sweet if that is a goal.
ReplyDeleteNot the goal, and then it would lose the essence and just be a regular bundt.
DeleteThat looks so yummy!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter might enjoy making this.
DeleteI think the cake looks great and thanks for trying this for us! I will be making it also!
ReplyDeleteIt was a success.
DeleteThat turned out beautiful, Sam. I’d say it tastes delicious!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful might be a stretch, but adequate. Taste was really good.
DeleteThat looks lovely, white chocolate and raspberry is such a great combination.
ReplyDeleteIt really was a good flavor combination.
DeleteThat looks very nummy!
ReplyDeleteI'll make again, in a long while though. Feeds a lot of people.
DeleteDear Sam and Friends, am looking rather forward to fall, because it will be cool enough to start up the cookie and muffin production. The store-bought stuff contains insane amounts of (beet) sugar and various other not-so-great ingredients. Sure, the PA Bakery makes fine stuff, but the cost ... not happening.
ReplyDeleteI think this size at Nothing Bundt runs $22. Even doubling ingredients, I think I spent perhaps $14- nothing sale priced.
DeleteHey! I just popped a bundt cake into the oven (a jam cake); yours looks more scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteTrick seems to be more egg, pudding, and sour cream.
DeleteYum! Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I want to make it soon.
i feeds more than it might look. We served 10, plus I sent some home with both DH's mom, and the last with his sister since we had cake one at home already.
DeleteVery impressive. It looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't all that impressive since it was quite easy-I don't do fancy often, so this was crudely fancy for me.
DeleteYum, looks good to me ( I am currently on an eat what you want when you want as much as you want diet lol so could probably polish the whole thing off in one shot) :)
ReplyDeleteI would happily make you one if you were closer! And-darn right you should eat whatever and however much you would like.
